Midnight North blends rock, Americana, and a little jam-band spirit into songs built for the road and the heart. Based in California, they’ve made a name with soulful harmonies, tight live shows, and honest songwriting that connects. It’s music made to move—with stories you’ll want to hear again.
We’re thrilled to announce some exciting guest musicians to our show this Saturday at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco!
Joining us for this special night are Bay Area legend Dan Lebowitz, who’ll bring his one-of-a-kind guitar magic, the amazing Natalie Cressman with her exquisite trombone skills and gorgeous vocals, and the brilliant Raffi Garabedian adding some soulful saxophone to the magic.
It’s going to be an unforgettable evening of music, and we can’t wait to see you there!
Hey folks, 2024 has been a really rough year for the Midnight North family, so things have been a little quiet around here lately. That being said, we all know that real live music HEALS. It’s truly powerful! So next Saturday the 30th at the Great American Music Hall we’re coming together to wrap up the year for Midnight North. Songs will be sung, amps cranked, and good times had with healing vibes! Tickets still available, link below or at the GAMH website. Thanks to all who already bought tickets! We’re looking forward to Midnight North returning to the stage in San Francisco! See you soon!
Let’s remember some fantastic nights at the legendary Great American Music Hall, and then let’s plan to be there on Saturday November 30 for the Return of Midnight North!
It’s been a wild year for us, but we can’t wait to be back on our favorite stage and making music with you all! Grab your tickets at MidnightNorth.com
First off, we are all so thankful for your well wishes for Elliott’s health these last months. It really has been a special thing to see the outpouring of support and love that has come her way as she recovers!
And now: we are so incredibly thrilled and grateful to be at a point where we can announce a new show! And not just any new show, but a big hometown blowout show at one of the most special venues in the world. Please join us on Saturday, November 30, 2024 in San Francisco at the magical Great American Music Hall!
We’re going to make Midnight North’s return to our favorite San Francisco stage an extra special one. Expect friends, guests, family, and more. We can’t wait to celebrate being back on stage with you all!
We’re so thrilled to have some Midnight North news coming tomorrow! We were so happy to be back together playing a couple local festival shows a couple weeks back, our first Midnight North shows since Elliott’s health crisis and her recovery began. As that finishes up, we’re starting to make some plans for later this year, so we can’t wait to share this announcement tomorrow!
We’re all so thankful for your support this year, and we can’t wait to see you again soon – stay tuned!

We’re so thrilled to be back!! Our first Midnight North show in many months is THIS FRIDAY July 26 in Cloverdale CA – we’re rocking the Friday Night Live at the Plaza concert series (which is a FREE show)
Next Friday, August 2, we have another epic show: the Locomotion Festival at Roaring Camp in Felton CA with String Cheese Incident, Hot Buttered Rum, and more.
We’re excited to have 2 special guests joining us for these shows. On July 26 in Cloverdale we’ll be joined by Brian Lesh on guitar and maybe mandolin! And on August 2 in Felton we’ll be joined by the amazing Holly Bowling on keyboards.
These will be special Midnight North shows with some special people joining us – Bay Area, we hope you’re there too! We can’t wait to see you all, and eventually we’ll be back out to see all our favorite spots & people around the country too

We wanted to share a small update on Elliott’s condition and our plans for the summer (and beyond). As you may have noticed, Elliott has been getting out and playing some music around the Bay Area, which has been so wonderful to see and experience! Having her join Grahame & Nathan at the “Grahame Lesh & Friends” show in Novato earlier this month was a special way to welcome her back to the stage. Since then she’s played a few shows and has a couple on the calendar (plus, a little birdie says to keep an eye on Phil’s Darkstarathon episodes for some EP content coming soon…)
As we shared on our last update a couple months back, her surgery went extremely well and she has been recovering very well. However, while she is still fully recovering, Midnight North won’t be playing any shows away from the Bay Area for a while.
With that in mind, we have 3 awesome festivals planned for this Summer.
The first is the Weiser River Music Fest in Weiser ID, coming up next week. We will be performing at the fest, but unfortunately Elliott will not be able to make the trip, so we will be once again be billed as Grahame Lesh & The North (shoutout Mazer for that band name).
The next 2 events are more local, and thus we are planning for the RETURN OF MIDNIGHT NORTH! On Friday, 7/26, we’ll be at Friday Night Live at the Plaza in Cloverdale, CA. This is a free concert series in downtown Cloverdale, and the perfect return to the stage for Midnight North!
Then the next Friday 8/2, we’ll be at String Cheese Incident’s Locomotion Festival at Roaring Camp in Felton! We love Roaring Camp, we love Felton, and we love SCI – what a perfect way to cap off Elliott’s return w/ MN.
We are very excited to get back onstage as a band & see you all again! Stay tuned – it may be late into 2024 & perhaps 2025 before we get back to any real touring, but we’re already looking forward to seeing our friends all over the country again.
As always, keep the healing love, prayers, and thoughts flowing! It’s working, but there is always more to be done

We – and especially Elliott – are so thankful for your well wishes for her health these last few weeks. It really has been a special thing to see the outpouring of support and love that has come Elliott’s way as she recovers.
It was a bittersweet weekend last week with our friends the Mother Hips on the east coast. We made some wonderful music, but we missed Elliott so dearly and can’t wait until she is back onstage with us.
Since our last update Elliott underwent a complex surgery to remove the tumor, which was fortunately deemed quite successful. Of course, because of the intensity of the surgery her recovery will not be very fast, so it will be some time before Elliott is back on stage and even longer before she’s back on tour.
Because of that, we are unfortunately going to cancel our upcoming run in Colorado at eTown in Boulder, Cervantes in Denver, and the Lariat in Buena Vista (scheduled for March 28-30). Tickets will be refunded at the point of sale.
Our April shows in the Midwest will go ahead, but similar to last weekend we will be billing them as Grahame Lesh & The North (that’s our buddy Justin Mazer who always refers to us as “the North”). There is no Midnight North without Elliott, so we’ll be holding off on calling ourselves MN until Elliott is ready to lead us onstage
Stay tuned as we keep you updated beyond the spring, and keep the healing love, thoughts, and prayers flowing!
Recently we learned that our dear Elliott Peck was diagnosed with a major health issue that will keep her away from the stage for a few months. Elliott has shared her experience in the post below. To do everything we can to support her in her recovery, we are sad to announce that we will not be performing as Midnight North until Elliott is once again healthy enough to join us on stage.
To that end, we will be cancelling next week’s 4 shows in New England – February 29 at Nectar’s in Burlington, March 1 at Putnam Place in Saratoga Springs, March 2 at Rockwood Boston, and March 3 at 3S Artspace in Portsmouth. Tickets will be refunded at the point of sale.
The 4 shows the following weekend (March 7-10 co-headlining with the Mother Hips) will become Grahame Lesh & Friends shows, with Grahame & the rest of MN doing our best to fill the air with musical healing energy. Those shows are March 7 at the Hamilton in Washington DC, March 8 at Brooklyn Bowl in New York, March 9 at Levon Helm Studios in Woodstock, and March 10 at Middle Ages Beer Hall in Syracuse.
We will have more information on the rest of our scheduled dates in the Spring in the coming days and weeks.
We appreciate you all for reading and thank you for your positive & healing thoughts, prayers, & support!
